The Origin of the Freemen Gaming Community

  • March 30, 2018 - The Sea of Thieves Freemen of Nassau fleet was born, under the guiding hands of its Founding Fathers: JayRock2928, GRIFTER93, Novagoth, and FON Flightforce

  • April 2, 2018 - The very first Freemen Server Domination Day, and the beginning of a new era.

  • May 16, 2018 - This very website was created!

  • June 6, 2018 - The Freemen of Nassau grew, and so did problems with Microsoft. Alas, Discord saved the day and became our primary home within the Freemen.

  • June 25, 2018 - Founding Fathers JayRock2928 and GRIFTER93 retired, making it a bittersweet day

  • July 8, 2018 - The Freemen Constitution expanded, creating new fleet officer positions, and opening the community up to bigger and greater events.

  • August 16, 2018 - The very first Freemen Skullball game occurred, paving way for an exciting league.

  • August 24, 2018 - Founding Father Novagoth retired from his Captain position, earning the Freemen Medal of Blackbeard for his hard work and dedication to the fleet.

  • September 30, 2018 - The Freemen Constitution expanded, making the small FON Sea of Thieves community into a full FON Gaming Community.

  • October 10, 2018 - The Freemen Gaming Hub opened, giving room for other games that the Freemen can play together!

  • October 15, 2018 - The start of the Minecraft project; a special DnD-like world for Freemen to experience.

  • October 19, 2018 - FON Flightforce was elected King of The Freemen, entrusted to guide us into a better future.

  • November 11, 2018 - The Minecraft FON Realm was completed, ready for quests and adventures to be completed.

  • November 19, 2018 - The very first adventure in the Minecraft FON Realm occurred; the brave adventurers, DEAD EDGE 666, SporadicMango, and PetriZide, defeated the evil witch, freeing the city of Nassau from its grip.

  • December 3, 2018 - Freemen Fantasia, a simpler, less-complicated version of Dungeons and Dragons, was created.

  • December 13, 2018 - The Minecraft FON Realm opened up for survival players, activating Nassau’s economy.

  • January 7, 2019 - Freemen Flash goes live, replacing the beloved Father’s at Five.

  • April 8, 2019 - With the retirement of King FlightForce, we welcome the new leader of the Freemen, Queen ShinyTARDIS! Long live to the old king, but hail to the new queen!

  • December 17th, 2019 - Restructuring of the Officer corp and Discord commences with combining of the Vetting Hub and the Gaming Hub.

  • January 1st, 2020 - With the retirement of Queen ShinyTARDIS, we welcome to the leader of the Freemen, King DaWolfsDenYo!

  • January 27th, 2020 - New Freemen of Nassau Constitution passes a General Vote and starts being implemented.

  • January 31st, 2020 - New Parliament members are Sworn into office and new Council of Lords members are nominated and voted in by the Parliament, to be voted on by the General Vote.

  • February 2nd, 2020 - New Freemen Constitution, Bylaws, and Role Charter get voted in and implemented. New Lords Council are voted in by a General Vote, with King DaWolfsDenYo giving up the crown, to become Lord DaWolfsDenYo, along with Lord Venomized and Lord SporadicMango.

  • January 8th, 2024 - Lord Venomized and PM prysmatik_ have retired, leaving Lords SporadicMango and Dawolfsden on the Council of Lords, and PMs Dead Edge, Racer BThomps, WilliamtoKill, and x 5T0B3R B34R x on the Council of Commons to hold the fort down

  • The Freemen of Nassau started out as a small gaming community for Sea of Thieves. Now, we have grown more than that, we have become a family. We enjoy each other’s company and playing with each other. Therefore, we have expanded into other games!
